However, by this time the man became very greedy and impatient to love all the eggs at a time. He thought if he cut the goose, he would get all the eggs at a time.

He became extremely disappointed and last the valuable goose forever. Far from becoming rich, he became poorer. Through this incident, the farmer understood that excessive greed for quick money had brought about misfortune for him. He held himself responsible for the misfortune. He had nothing to do to make up the loss.
