Paragraph on Air Pollution or Causes of Air Pollution

Air pollution means the ways in which the air is polluted. Air is the most important element of the human environment. Man cannot live a single moment without air. But we do not think that it is we who pollute this most vital element. Clean air is essential for life. Air is polluted in many ways. For example, smoke-polluted Air. Man makes fires to cook his food, to create bricks burns refuse, melts pitch for construction and burns wood. All those things produce heavy smoke and this smoke polluted air. Another example is that railway engines, powerhouse, miles, and factories use coal and oil. Buses, trucks, and car use petrol and diesel oil.

Again, these things create smoke and cause air pollution. Furthermore, the most serious air pollution occurs in big industrial where there are many mills and factories. Again, serious air pollution occurs in the cities where many buses, trucks, and car plying the street every day are. Sometimes men in the industrial area become so sick by inhaling polluted air that that cannot be cured, as proper measures and step should be taken to prevent air pollution.

Air is an important element of our environment. But air is getting polluted seriously. It is a global concern at present. Emitting smokes from vehicles pollutes air in cities. Besides, burning of trash and indiscriminate discharge of human waste in the open is also the cause of air pollution. Serious air pollution occurs in industrial areas.

To prevent such air pollution, we should shift the mills and factories away from the locality or residential area. Excessive smoke emitting vehicles should be banned. Lead free petrol should be used and compressed air should be used in vehicles to minimize air pollution.
