Story of Two Friends/ The Truthfully Friend

One day two friends were walking through the forest. They were speaking with each other. As a matter of fact, they were close friends. One point, they promised, they will help with each in their danger. All of a sudden a bear was coming towards them. Seeing the bear, they become very afraid. One of them climbed up along tree at once.

Another friend did not know how to do now. Because he didn’t know how way climb up to agree. At that moment, he hit upon a plan. He lay down on the ground just like a dead man. By this time, the bear comes to near him and examined his nose, hear, eyes and his very carefully etc. But at last, the bear could understand that this man is a dead man.

The bear went away because bear does not eat dead body. When they went away, the first friend got down from the tree and asked his friend “what did the bear say to you?" In the reply, the second friend said, the bear said to me that the friend who ran away to fall into danger his friends. He is not your real friend.

Moral: A friend in need is a friend indeed.

The bear came up to him and smelt his nose, ears, and face, took him to be a dead man and left the place. When the bear was gone the man in the tree came down and said, “Thank God that you are saved. But friend, I saw the bear put its mouth very close to your ear. Did it say anything to you.”


The friend replied.
“Yes, the bear told me not to trust a friend who left me in danger to seek his own safety.”

He was sure that the bear would tear him into pieces. Suddenly he remembered that the bear does not eat dead animal. So he lay down on the ground just like a dead man. The bear came to him and smelt his body. The friend stopped breathing. The bear thought that he was dead and went away. Then the first friend got down from the tree and came to the second friend. He said to him, “What did the bear whisper to you?” He said, “The bear told me not to keep such a friend who deserts his friend in danger. Because a friend in need is a friend indeed.”
